Farewell Lionel and Pat - 18 May 2008


Lionel and Pat Sainsbury have been valuable and active members of the Sofia congregation for many years and they have been key players in keeping both the wider ex-pat community and the church together. The couple are returning to the UK for their retirement. Lionel and Pat are friendly and welcoming - they have been making people feel at home in Sofia for six years. Their leaving will be felt far beyond the Anglican community.

We thank them most sincerely for everything and wish them all the best for the future. Here are some pictures from the farewell on 18 May 2008.
